Current owners have had this car for 50 years, having purchased it in October 1972. It had been first registered in Sheffield to Kennings Limited, despatched to them on 28th August 1970.
In 1973, the first summer we had the car, we drove it to the South of France. Everyone thought we were mad because petrol was then the astronomical price of 50p a gallon! In those days the outside lane of the autoroute was often left empty and the MG was happy to cruise at 100mph, hour after hour, in overdrive.
