1978 ‘O’ series Prototype

3621 MG began life in 1978 as one of the original factory O Series Development cars “L9” and was originally registered RUD 224T. Originally a full US SPEC (as can be seen from the triple wiper blade, side repeater lights and vanity mirror on the driver’s sun visor), Left Hand drive car finished in Ermine White. Following the closure of Abingdon the shell was sold, less O Series Engine, and later converted to Right Hand Drive V8 spec in 1982 by Beers of Houghton.
