1964

This Mk1 MGB is particularly rare as it is one of the first to be fitted with the five-bearing engine, but still with the three-synchro gearbox. It left the MG Abingdon factory on Friday 13th November 1964 bound for University Motors in London. From here it was delivered to Harold Web Motors in Romford Essex, the dealers plate is still under the bonnet.
In August 2013 this MGB was chosen by the Royal Mail to be featured on a stamp together with other British Legend cars.
