1977 Queens Silver Jubilee Special

This is the unique and one-off, 1977 Silver Jubilee Special Edition MG BGT,
commissioned by the Vale of White Horse District Council to be raffled in support of the Prince Charles Jubilee Appeal.
The car was built and finished in the Rectification Shop, Abingdon, between the 5 th April and the 11 th May 1977, when it was delivered to Hartwells in Kidlington to be displayed as first prize in the Vale Jubilee Raffle. On the 11 th August, a lucky lady with the winning ticket, costing just 25p, drove the car away. Since then, there have been a succession of owners, thankfully keeping the car in its original condition, with just 4,000 miles on the clock.
