1980 LE

SUA 789W was built between 5 – 11 September 1980. Of the 1000 LEs built it is chassis number 463 out of 1000 and GT chassis number 180 of the 580 GT LEs.

All the LEs (apart from the very last Roadster and GT) were sent to regional storage dealers to await an advertising campaign to sell them in 1981. SUA 789W was despatched from Abingdon on 20 November 1980 to Cornelius Parish Limited, Selby and then sent to Arnold G Wilson, the Austin Morris Dealer in Chapel Allerton, Yorkshire. It was sold and first registered on 6 February 1981.
